“all kpop is bad lol” and “all anime is bad lawl” are such generalized statements ESPECIALLY from white people.

“anime”, for example, describes multiple genres of Japanese animation (from ghibli to full metal alchemist). to lump them all together because you didn’t like one AND because you cant differentiate between pieces of media in a different country is culturally insensitive and sometimes racist!! and yes I do have a little bit of experience with this because y’all do the same with mexican culture and every other non-white culture on the fucking earth!

TLDR you can and should point out flaws in anime but you don’t have to sound like shit when doing it. quit generalizing!
